AND Because We Love Our Readers – BONUS STORY INSIDE!!!Jessie was the only daughter of her deceased father. Her father had died too soon and she had been a cowgirl ever since. Riding on horses in the Texas dust, she had learnt the ropes the hard way. She had challenged many cowboys in her heyday but unfortunately never fancied any. She fought rodeos with caution holding some haunting memories of the past. Wilson Cummins was a man of the city. He had spent almost his entire life in New York City. His business was expanding, thanks to his brilliant father who had died too soon and he suddenly felt the load of the entire family on his shoulders. The Cummins had a ranch in Texas and Wilson’s father Gregory had spent many years here when Wilson was just a toddler. Gregory had abruptly left Texas and bought a house in New York and the family never looked back. Now Wilson had got a court order to recover the ranch in Texas to avoid its demolition. Wilson flew to Texas and recovered the ranch. He was at the local bar and looking for a caretaker for his ranch when someone suggested the name of Jessie. Jessie agreed and Wilson was stunned to see the natural beauty of the cowgirl. He liked her spirit and her bubbly nature. He invited her to his house and the love relationship grew. Jessie too adored the man from the moment she saw him. The two fell in love. Jessie invited him to rodeo shows and offered to teach him how to ride horses which he refused. The two were inseparable and could not stay without each other. Jessie had the time of her life. She made the biggest mistake of her life when she mentioned the name of her father, Miller Morgan. Wilson got the shock of his life. He packed his things and left for New York. He discovered another love interest over there called Tina. He loved her equally and found her extremely attractive. He is gone for almost a year and had no plans to return. Tina is upset because she thought that Wilson did not love her with all his heart. He is not able to take it all the way through and keeps thinking about Jessie. The eagerness grows and one day he breaks up with Tina and runs to Jessie. He gives out the truth that his father Gregory had killed her father Miller and the rodeo was not the only reason for her father’s death. That day Miller had a fever and came to Gregory at his ranch for some medicine. Gregory gave him the wrong medicine in a hurry causing his whole body to become numb before the rodeo. As a result in the bull ride Miller fell off the bull and the bull rammed the horn through him, killing him instantly. But it was not Gregory’s fault. Still his father took his life a day after Miller died. Wilson felt sorry and cried before Jessie. Wilson did not have the courage to face Jessie and was trying to run away from her. Jessie was a cowgirl with a big heart. She too cried and knew that there was truth in what Wilson said. She hugged him and said that it was an accident and not his father’s fault. The two walked arm in arm into the sunset.
